Feminisms and Speculative Imaginations / Introduction

The study group Feminisms and Speculative Imaginations that met in MUCA-Roma/UNAM, and was organized by the Museum of Mexican Women Artists, MUMA, brought together an intergenerational group of artists and researchers with the objective of discussing a series of issues related to feminist thought that they considered would allow us to have a better understanding of ourselves in our present context. The proposal consisted of forming a group whose members committed themselves to attending thematic sessions once a month, in order to participate in a conversation in which they shared their diverse positions in relation to their artistic production, on the basis of literary, historical and/or theoretical texts that served as catalysts for dialogue and discussion. The results of each session were documented so that they could be shared on this platform.

Participants
Alejandra Solandra, Aline Hernández, Cecilia Delgado, Emilia Solis, Fernanda Barreto, Karen Cordero, Lucero González, Lucia Peñaloza, Magali Lara, Manuela García and Tania Magaña Bello.
