Trying to find a lighter way. Trying to loosen as many bonds, which, in the end, are not as tight as we thought.
Pilgrims have been part of my transformation and my progress ...
believing that I was ahead of them, life put me behind them...
So I began photographing thousands and thousands of hands together that are heading towards a destination, a tradition that goes beyond a belief, a religion, far more than what we want and need ... an eternal row of bare feet that will heal your soul and turn your needs into testimonials ...
I have spent many years pursuing them, many magical moments coupled with times of despair, but with the hope and determination to share this progress with the world.
Sometimes in silence, crying, sometimes singing, watching, but always with the excitement of following in their footsteps, and standing in them and tattooing my heart.
An art book and a photographic exhibition, which speaks of Mexican traditions, pilgrims, faith, the Virgin of Guadalupe and all those who have been on a pilgrimage, barefoot, wrapped up warmly and accompanied...
