This piece is an architectural intervention in a central patio as an expansion-space of sounds and sound gravitation.
I seek to reflect on the present and memory, on our activity in terms of schedules, dreams and rest. What happens during this cycle?
This project aims to explore the ability to manipulate the perception of time and its sound. On a symbolic level, the metaphor of its elasticity can be applied through a mechanic, programmed rhythm – such as the sound of old alarm clocks and their musical qualities – and there is also a physical property enabling us to speak of continuous symmetries, or movement of time.
Between these two levels, the piece works both by connecting harmonic qualities and manifesting potential energy contained in sound waves. Sound Platform.
