"Consecrated" is a photographic essay of a group of women that exist in our Mexican society, they are "invisible" and ignored. It is a document about female contemplative monasteries and cloistered nuns.

Despite the adversities that they have lived in Mexico throughout the history, there are still Orders founded since 1530. Marcela Taboada enjoys the fellowship of the National System of Art Creators of FONCA 2013-2015 and has done her work in seven female congregations in the city of Puebla and other States of Mexico.
